Sources' Research Indian Performative Arts, founded by Abani Biswas, is a research work for theatrical
sources of the Asian subcontinent active for over 30 years. Over the past three decades, Sources Reaserch has worked with artists from rural backgrounds in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Kerala and Orissa, along with some of the world's most important cultural and artistic centres including: University of Columbia, USA. Centro Teatro Ateneo, Üniversity of Rome, Italy. Völkerkundemuseum der Universität Zürich, Switzerland. Alma Mater Studiorum Universita Di Bologna, Italy. Canterbury University, England. La Sapienza Centre for study of Jerzy Grotowski's work, Wroclaw, Poland. Indian Council for Cultural Relations, India. Sources Research is now an artistic centre that preserve Indian traditional heritage and works in contemporary arts such as Theatre and Films.
